Modern Etiquette: Confidence, Courtesy, and Connection

Build Social Confidence Through Real-World Life Skills

An 8-week interactive program for ages 15-25, teaching the etiquette and social skills that help you navigate any situation with confidence, courtesy, and authentic connection.

More Than Just Manners

Modern etiquette isn't about stuffy rules or outdated formality — it's about showing respect, building confidence, and navigating social situations with ease. Whether you're meeting someone new, going on a job interview, attending a formal dinner, or just trying to be a better roommate, these skills open doors and create opportunities.

In this 8-week program, you'll learn practical etiquette for real life through interactive activities, role-playing, and hands-on practice. From introducing yourself with confidence to navigating a formal dinner to being a thoughtful guest, you'll build a toolkit of skills that serve you in every social setting.

This isn't about becoming someone you're not — it's about showing up as your best self in any situation.

Founding Cohort - Join Us in Launching This Program

We're bringing modern etiquette and life skills training to Douglas County youth for the first time, and we want you to be part of it from the start.

As a new nonprofit, we're building our inaugural cohort and creating sustainable community programming. When you register, you're not just joining a program — you're helping establish something that will serve young people in our community for years to come.

What you need to know:

  • We need 9 committed participants to launch (ensures quality group dynamics and interactive learning)
  • Registration is open now; program starts when cohort fills
  • Expected timeline: Launch within 4-8 weeks of reaching minimum enrollment
  • You'll be contacted to confirm scheduling before we finalize dates
  • Founding members receive priority consideration for future cohorts

Current Status: Building our first cohort now

  • Why It Matters

What is Modern Etiquette?

Etiquette is the set of customs and rules that govern polite behavior in society. It's how we show respect for ourselves and others through our actions, words, and presence.

Why does it matter?

  • First impressions can open or close doors
  • Confidence grows when you know what to do
  • Respect creates connection and trust
  • Social skills improve relationships, career prospects, and quality of life
  • Small courtesies make a big difference in how others perceive and treat you

Modern etiquette honors tradition while adapting to contemporary social norms — including pronouns, digital communication, and diverse cultural expectations.

  • Practical scenarios - Handle situations you'll actually encounter
  • Hands-on practice - Try new skills in a safe environment
  • Immediate application - Use what you learn between sessions

You'll walk away with skills you can use immediately, not just information you might remember.
