JLC was born from a simple observation and a profound calling: young adults and families in Douglas County needed more than quick fixes or surface-level solutions. They needed comprehensive support that addressed every area of life — mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual — all anchored in the unchanging truth of God's Word.
What started as a vision to mentor young adults through the eight dimensions of health has grown into a multi-faceted ministry serving individuals at every stage of life. From young adults discovering their purpose to couples strengthening their marriages to families in crisis receiving immediate help, ELEV8 has become a place where transformation happens and community thrives.
We believe that real change doesn't come from programs alone — it comes from relationships. From walking alongside people in their struggles and victories. From pointing them to the One who offers hope, healing, and wholeness.

Jennifer has called Castle Rock home since 1996, and for more than two decades she has served the community as a licensed professional counselor with a heart for guiding adults, couples, and young adults through life’s challenges. Her work is rooted in compassion, respect, and a deep belief in each person’s capacity to grow, heal, and thrive.
Beyond her professional experience, Jennifer brings the richness of her own life journey into her practice. She and her husband share a blended family of two adult children and two adult stepchildren, a source of joy, perspective, and gratitude. Together they love skiing, biking, hiking, and exploring the beautiful Colorado landscape they are proud to call home.
Jennifer’s passion for serving others extends far beyond the counseling room. She is deeply involved in her community and her church, dedicating her time and energy to uplifting those around her. Her warmth, steadiness, and genuine care create a welcoming space where individuals and couples can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
With a lifelong commitment to helping people navigate both everyday struggles and deeply personal transitions, Jennifer strives to walk alongside each person with empathy, encouragement, and hope.
