Building Resilience, Restoring Wholeness
At the heart of the Veterans Wellness Program is the restoration of qualities service can challenge or deplete. Through the program, participants rebuild:
- Integration — Bringing scattered pieces of life back into one coherent whole
- Resilience — The capacity to move through difficulty without being overcome by it
- Purpose — A renewed sense of direction that honors service while building what's next
- Connection — Community with others who understand the experience
- Identity — A clear sense of who you are beyond the uniform
These aren't concepts — they're lived experiences practiced weekly through every dimension of the program.

Jennifer Canning — Founder and Clinical Lead
Jennifer Canning is a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of practice in Castle Rock, Colorado. She founded JLC Wellness Collective to bring integrated wellness to Douglas County — programs that honor the whole person rather than treat symptoms in isolation.
Jennifer's approach is warm, grounded, and evidence-based. She believes transformation happens in relationship, and that healing requires community, not just individual effort.

- Live in or can travel to Douglas County, Colorado
How to Join
Step 2: Consultation — Meet with Jennifer — in person or virtually — to learn more about the program, ask questions, and talk about your specific situation.
Step 3: Intake — If the program seems like a fit for both of us, we do a more detailed intake to understand your needs and build your personalized approach.
Step 4: Welcome — You're part of the community. We begin the program components at a pace that works for you.
